Very big flowers resembling pure Poncirus-flowers. Much different from those of Citrumelo 5*, are they?

Very different indeed and much larger than any poncirus flower I have seen. The origin of Dunstan is rather obscure, some people claim that it is not a hybrid with grapefruit but with pomelo.

Very Decorative Ilya. Are they scented too? Are they Dunstan Citramello or Dunstan grapefruit?
I hope your 1/4 PT Citramello's recovered after that freeze.

There is no Dunstan grapefruit, but Dunstan citrumelo. Its flowers are very fragrant.

Hi Ilya: It's my understanding that there is an old Var of Grapefruit that was called Dunstan. It was known for having a white peel, was very sweet, with a strong "grapefruit" flavor. Perhaps it looked too much like the acid citrus and buyers avoided the fruits? It was grown perhaps in the early half of the 1900's. And that Dunstan Citramello is a hybrid between Poncirus, and this obscure Dunstan Grapefruit. I'm sorry if I got confused about the frost damage. One of the citrus breeders was reporting that his 50% PT trees sailed through the winter snow, but his 25% or 1/4 Poncirus citramello trees had not recovered from the snow. As of his report. (It saddened me because I was hoping to plant the same Variety)

That would be Duncan grapefruit, not Dunstan.

Hello everyone, this citrumelo is very interesting, it would be very interesting to be able to hybridize it with very cold resistant orange, the flowers are superb and very large, apparently it would be one of the best citrumelo. . the fruit always ripe at your place at what period?
