Leaves drying after leaf loss

Hi all,

I'm brand new at citrus growing and I could use some help diagnosing my Buddha's hand tree.

I wasn't able to provide much light to my tree for the first 2 weeks I had it, and as a result most of the leaves fell. The few remaining leaves are drying and turning gray/brown. The tip of the stem is also drying up.

My tree now lives in a grow tent where it gets 10-12 hours of light per day. I water the tree on a 3-4 day basis, keeping the soil moist but not fully wet. There's 1-2 inch of gravel at the bottom of the pot for drainage.

Any clue on what's happening with my tree and what I should be doing to get it nice and healthy again?

For me it looks like fertilizer overdose

I didn't add any fertilizer yet, it's feeding off the soil only.
Is there any action I can take to help? Or will it simply recover over time?

Adding gravel to a container's bottom to improve drainage has long been proven to be wrong.  What the gravel does is raise the perched water table higher in the container.  It is the perched water table that does the damage.  I don't think low light is the cause of the tree 's leaves drying out.  Watch you watering schedule.

Do you have cats? It could be due to their urine.

In any case, I agree with Millet, change substrate ,  remove gravel,  assure that water is flowing  rapidly through the holes.

Nope, I don't have cats or any pet.

I'm using grow bags and not rigid pots. Filling it with potting mix is all I need to do?
Or is it best to have the bag sit on something so it isn't directly on the ground?
