Hello!
I have read here and there that Citrus has no or only a few short root hairs. This is in fact what I see with bare eyes when I repot my plants. But now I have a seed germinating (Kucle x precocious Poncirus or Kucle x C ichangensis - I will see) that has plenty of proper root hairs at its small 1cm long root. That made me think. And I would like to know more about the point how developed root hairs really are in Citrus or Poncirus. Does somebody know?

I guess hair roots are very common in citrus grown in the open ground.

Thank you, Ilya, for the link. It was a good overview for me but has also made clear to me that a lot of research can still be done. I will have a closer look on the roots of my plants in the future.
