A few of my Italian lemons that I T-budded are producing a bunch of new growth from the same location as the original T was made.

Sometimes when you t bud and all is right the parent thinks it is injured and goes about recovering.........😁

The darker branch was the original t-bud flush. The others just keep coming.

The T budding has nothing to do with that because it is already old. They are natural sprouts growing because the rootstock is very strong compared to the canopy.

My New Zealand lemonade keeps sending out shouts on the graft line, not root stock.

These shoots are not rootstock, the rootstock is swingle.
