I've just built a greenhouse and it's getting quite hot inside 30C. 80F. . So I'm wondering how hot should I let it get for citrus before I cool it down?
Also quite a few of my plants are in pots so the soil I sheathing up. Is that bad should I keep the pots cool?

Laaz is writing about the air temperature. However, for container plants, especially black or dark colored containers, the sun can quickly heat the medium up to 120F. which kill roots. Painting a dark colored container white will reflect much of the light thus mediate the temperature.

Here it's currently 95F with a heat index of 110F...

Yes some of the pots are small so I will definitely have to protect them from heat
