I can confirm successful fruit set with control pollination on :
C. junos X C depressa (Shiikuwasha) - I hope with will be a new hybrid similar to Sudachi cold hardy as well. C. keraji X C. clementina (Amoa 8 ) - maybe a red keraji? C. Microcitrus australasica X Fortunella x C. aurantifolia mexicana (Faustrime) X C. clementina (Amoa 8 ) - hopefully a red faustrime, this will need to be back crossed C. unshiu X C. clementina (Amoa 8 ) - not many hopes on this since satsumas are parthenocarp
I will have seeds open pollinated by wasps at the same time flowering in greenhouse C. junos, C depressa, C. keraji if anyone is interested having a try.
Maybe you can grow a new hybrid as well if you are interested.

> C. unshiu X C. clementina (Amoa 8 ) - not many hopes on this since satsumas are parthenocarp You might fave tried the other way because satsuma pollen is not completely sterile. I saw something like 6%-8% fertile.

Amo8 is largely polyembryonic

So, if you multiply the chance to have good pollen with the chance to find a zygotic among nucellars it doesn't give much chances to succeed...

I pollinated satsuma "Skorospelyj" x poncirus last year and I found 8 seeds, but all get rotten and no one germinated, inside seeds was lot of very small whitte "balls" and no one big embryo , I'm not sure how to call it . But another czech grower K. Mundl made succesfull crosses with Silverhill as seed parent x C. Ichangensis Ivia and Citrumelo, I think some variety of satsuma may be good for hybridization as seed parent...Silverhill looks promising.
K. Mundl hybrid Silverhill x C. Ichangensis "Ivia"
Last year I planted some Clementine seeds from Spain and I found one hybrid with trifoliate leaves, I guess Citrange is most likely pollen parent...

These small balls were small underdeveloped embryos, among satsumas Miyagawa is giving fairly good number of hybrid seedlings.

Amo8 is largely polyembryonic I used Amoa 8 as a pollen donor, the receiver with flowers before opening, and check the pollen with a 60x lens to see if it was viable.

Beautiful fruit and nice ideas. How many set and have you germinated any of your earlier projects?

4 seeds of Faustrime x Amoa 8 . I really hope to get a red blooded faustrime The small one it's supposed to be a red fingerlime, but it didn't turn out to be so red after all.

Update: Satsuma x Amoa 8 I got one seeds from controlled pollination.
Very weird this year I found 5 seeds in one fruit from open pollination. Next to it in flowering was Shekuwasha, bees all over.
