Tried my first pomelocross (hope it worked?) it ' s not so easy to see, because no trifoliate parent. I tried the cross due to curiousity and both plants flowered at same time. Still will let them grow and then see if there are differences in leave shape. I also will test frost hardiness though sure, that they wont be much hardier than Bloomsweet. But it s always interesting to see what will come.

I would say there are some hybrids in the mix.

Does Chandler needs a cross pollinisation to form seeds?

Does Chandler needs a cross pollinisation to form seeds? Ilya, thanks for your question, I looked now at UCR and found that: Chandler fruits are seedy when cross-pollinated by citrus fruits with viable pollen and seedless when grown in a solid block or in proximity to citrus fruits that are pollen sterile, such as navel oranges and Satsuma mandarin. So crosspoli ation seems very propably, hope it was my Bloomsweet pollen 😅.
