I wonder if its the Mountain Citron, Citrus halmii ?? citrusvariety.ucr.edu/citrus/halimii_3780.htmlThis UCR accession is probably not 100% the real thing according to the notes. Looks like a possible match, if it is a truly wild Citrus. Can anybody translate from the video some more info ?? On second thoughts at 1700 when they take the upwards shot into the foliage, you can see Citrus macroptera type leaves with a winged petiole.

Yes it looks like Citrus macroptera: citruspages.free.fr/papedas.php#macroptera
But it is not 100% sure because for C.macroptera, the number of segments are around 10-12 and the rind thinner. The differences could come from growing conditions: we can see big dark spots in the albedo like boron deficiency.

Does anyone know if Citrus halmii has winged petioles like a Papeda, or unifoliate as per Citrus ?? Seems to be mixed reports.

Speaking of your adventures, did you ever learn more about the BR1 species? It seems that BR1 and BR2 are two new species. Growing BR1, BR2 and BR3 showed that BR2 And BR3 are the same plant. I saw the first flower of BR2. Both sides of petals have pink traces, very different than other citrus! And ovary is spherical hence no relation with the wintersii witch grow in the same place (wintersii on the left bank of Brown river and BR1 and BR2 on the right bank of Brown river). Sadly, a branch fell and cut the flower... Maybe this year...

Have you looked at getting genetic profiles of these?
