IF It has trifoliate type leaves, then it is not the taichang. I brought back the taichang lemon after visiting a collector of citrus in Georgia some 15 years ago. Taichang leaves resemble yuzu and I would think there is some yuzu somewhere in the bloodline. PS I named this cultivar since the person I got it from did not have a name for it.. He only said it was a cross of taiwanica and ichang... So: Taichang Does that mean Sylvain has received his Taichang seed from you? What is the smell of the leaves on your Taichang? Does ist hybridize easily? I have seen, that older leaves are bifoliate or even monofoliate. Maybe trifoliate will disappear in future.

Im not sure where Sylvain got his Taichang seed. I may have sent him some years ago.. but as I said, the leaves resemble yuzu leaves ( thin and narrow)
