Good info. I make lemon zinger tea and add 5 minced yuzu to it. As you said pulp and all. It is really good tea and it has a "rewarding" freshness that is a surprise to the palate.

I would say the culinary uses for yuzu are more similar to citron than to lemon, but then again most Americans these days have no idea what a citron even is, much less how they are (or were) used.
Citron used to be a big thing in Southern Europe, and to some limited extent America more than a hundred years ago. Candied citron peel is one of the ingredients in traditional fruit cake, served around Christmas time.
