which lemon is the easiest to prune in your opinion? I did first light pruning of my lemon trees an it seems to me lisbon almost needs no pruning at all. Usualy 3 or 4 branches emerging from the main trunk. The branches are strong and steady. Meyer tends to form bush with many branches heading in all directions. seems harder to prune. luckily i planted more lisbons. also much easier to keep lisbon fruits fresh. meyers fruits tend to rott easily and best of all lisbon has big thorns which provide good protection against rabits, which so far are the biggest threat.
