Grapefruit and Pummelo (Pomelo) seedlings do sometimes produce a terminal bud flower in their first or second years. Unfortunately, after that they then only flower again when they reach the normal maturity age. In the case of your seedling, it probably decided to flower before it got completely eaten by slugs/snails?!

Although such precocious flowers are unlikely to set fruit, the pollen should be fine to use unless it's a pollen sterile cultivar.
