Fast food places need another name especially in Nashville like you might get what you ordered or not. KFC isn’t much better

The case in most "fast food" places. You must check your order before you leave the window. If you dont.....you will have someone else's order, no straws, no napkijns, no smile when you complain. Its a sigh of the times. Service to a customer is a rare item....as rare as real values in a changing world. Yes, David said it.

I totally agree. All fast food places should be required to have the word "SURPRISE" on all their bags and boxes. You never know for sure what you are going to get.

BUT... They deserve $15 an hour...

Well...instead of 15 per hour I feel that they need a swift kick and to be innoculated with the old adage that: when you take a job (regardless of pay) you learn that job, do your best work, serve the customer and if you are not willing....find another job. I am old school.....how silly of me😶.

Amen, Amen, Amen.
Laaz, just look at the can of worms you opened. lol. I do not support minimum wage being $15 an hour. I consider minimum wage positions as entry level and require no experience. More for high school/college kids who are just entering into the work force to get work experience, pocket money for gas, paying for their first cars, dates, and maybe help work their way through college. If the $15 an hour goes through, it's going to affect everybody in the workforce as they will be pissed because they have more work experience and possibly a college education. Secretarial/clerk positions in my school district start around $12-$13 an hour. Do you think they will get more money? Every company in the USA will have to adjust their pay scale or lay off workers. I wouldn't pay anybody $15 to cook food in a fast food restaurant. The food is either frozen, canned and 90% pre prepped. I foresee fast food and other jobs being automated. Remember the replicator on Star Trek? Fifty years later, we have cell phones that are pretty darn close to communicators. Gene Roddenberry was a genius! Those people who are demanding $15 are not going to have jobs for very long and will be forcing companies to consider automation.

There's nothing wrong with paying a hamburger flipper 15 bucks an hour, as long as you are willing to pay 12 buck for a Whopper. A lot of small and medium businesses will go under and cost of living will go way up. Just my opinion, but what do I know, I'm just an old fart living on SS. Where's my 15 dollars an hour for a "living wage"?...but I digress now.......Now what has all this got to do with red clementines? LOL.

LAMO YUP, me too. What would we do without entry level jobs? Not everyone is cut out for college. Some people learn better by doing. We need more apprenticeship type jobs. Teach a young person how to do something that they can earn a good living doing. We used to call it OJT..On the Job Training.

So far there’s not too many of us so it’s ok I guess if we get distracted a little on threads. Anyway I have red clementine so I’m not distracted.

Now you have done it. I can not come but read this: I WANT that red clementine and will do "almost: anything to get it. I will not streak in public so as not to scare folks and I will not see Blazing Saddles again.🤔

Mandared® (Nules clementine 2x and Tarocco oranges 4x) patented 2004 is an extremely shy bearer according to my experience. Contrary to it Amoa 8 (Avana x Moro) is loaded with flowers each year. From new hybrids with Tarocco, Sweet Sicily® (Comune clementines 2x and Tarocco oranges 4x) patented 2012 blooms a lot too. I had the mandared also. It has never given me any flowers!

I have had a Alspice that I got from turtleman years ago and it finally has a few fruit this year for the first time. This was also the first year it flowered and it is a very large in ground tree. I can’t figure it out. Has anyone heard from Turtleman lately or mr Texas?
