Great, Kelly. I hope your grafts took for you. I have a St. Theresa pushing already, and the Clementine I grafted at the same time have callused over, but the Bearrs lemon just did not take. I'm going to see if I can just get a tree from somewhere. Good to see so many Georgia boys and girls on the forum.

Stan has rooted Bearss lemons. They do great on their own roots as do most lemons.

John Schneider is still as hot as ever. I would love to have the opportunity to drive the General Lee as it has more hp than my old Mustang GT. Fingers crossed that it's an automatic. Yeehaw!!!

Evidently you have not had the opportunity to sit behind the snarling Dodge Hellcat.....

Hey TFN, I bought my tree from Harris, though I would recommend Stan over Harris. I can send you more if you’d like. Glad the ST worked out for you! I have Tarocco I can send if you want that as well.
I tried rooting the cuttings you sent me, the grapefruit lasted the longest, but didn’t make it. I’m sorry, I feel like a jerk 😞. Thanks again for your generosity.

Thanks again for your generosity. All's good. I grafted some and tried to root some. I didn't get any to root, but some of my chip bud grafts and t-buds took as well as the cleft graft. Just didn't have any luck with the lemon. It may be one of those hard to graft varieties or I just didn't do something right. Do you want some more bud wood to try? TFN

Flfreeze, you should be whipped with a wet noodle for trashing a Shiranui. I am sure somebody in FL would have loved to take it off your hands. My Shiranui is not a happy camper in my back yard either. No new growth whatsoever or blossoms this year. It's my 2nd year with it.

I have 3 Shiranui that have been in ground since June 2017. Got some fruit last year and should have more this year. I stored some off tree for about two weeks before eating. They were vveeerrrry good.

The Shiranui had one huge fruit the first year of bearing - it was the size of a baseball on steroids. It was good, TFN.

The winter after I planted mu Shiranui, it got down to 14 degrees on a couple of occasions, but they had time to harden up before then. It makes a huge difference whether it gets cold slowly or quickly. Mine get hit worse after Spring warm up and then a quick cold snap. They do tend to be mite magnets along with Moro Blood Orange and Xie-Shan.
