Anyone have a source? I've searched everywhere & can not find a online source that ships.

Hi Laaz,
I have Barbados cherry scions that I can ship to you from free. I heard it is very easy to root from cutting. I don't know what variety I got, I purchased it from a local nursery here.
Thanks, Al

Hi Al. Are they the sweet variety? I think the most common in CA is Manoa sweet.

I once had a Barbados cherry, did not like the taste and got rid of it.

Hi Al. Are they the sweet variety? I think the most common in CA is Manoa sweet. In my opinion, it is not bad. Not too sweet. Like Millet said, the fruit taste is not really pleasant. Similar to a Surinam cherry, but it is a little bit better and sweeter. Once you get used to it, it is not to bad. Vitamin c is what make me grow it. I have another variety I brought from Ben Poirier, CA last year and it is flowered this year but no fruit yet. I can ship both varieties to you. Thanks, Al
