Hi:) I am from Europe.. After a long break I have decided to come back to citrus.. I am not very experience [few years ago I had a ponderosa lemon, made some mistakes with it mainly in watering, then managed to keep her healthy and happy and then gave it away..]. And now the idea of a citrus as an indoor plant came back to me and I have an orange [supposed to be Vaniglia] and some mixed seedlings - kumquat and moro orange. It actually started with them as I just tossed the seeds in the soil and forgot about them, and then found them growing green and looking quite well.. So now more in sprouting : the Sweetie, kumquat hindsii, the "pursha" and "kucli" whatever it is a kumquat crosses i guess.. Then I think I will make some selection when they will grow up a bit..
My orange have a problematic spot but I am not sure where to ask about in in this forum - it looks like after the grafting part of the graft broke off, and that place have some dry wood in sight - should it be somehow removed or treated with fungicide, just in case for a future? it was also a bit pale, bit dried and had some mites damage but I think I have managed how to deal with those and it started to grow now So fingers crossed, as I want to learn how to keep them healthy in my conditions and add some more to the collection..
