Ellerhoop was to my sensation, mainly sour, little to no bitter with only a little resin. But the bitter sensation is different and I think that I react rather little to bitter. Ultimately, however, there are now, better varieties, front away #7 and Kinga. But also the sour varieties Pt+ and Swamp Lemon I would not disregard. They can all be interesting for breeding. In the case of #7, there is also the fact that it is most likely a hybrid offspring, it remains to be seen how the traits are passed on in hybrids. All in all, I find the varieties that are now available very promising...
This is Poncirus #7

@ Ilya Thank you very much for the photos. Where does the name Kinga come from? Last season's fruit looks delicious. Could it be that the leaves look a bit like a hybrid?
@ Mikkel parallel to Ellerhoop I had tested a 5star. both me and my wife tasted Ellerhoop (and the other two) better than 5star. This was really unpleasantly bitter (but also still a little green I must confess). Such a bitterness was definitely missing something in the "better" poncirus.
The #7 looks a bit drier, do you know how easy they are to squeeze?

No, I can't tell. The fruit that I ate was a little older. There was not much juice in it.

As far as I know it is a name of a lady who owns this garden. My grafted plant has rather big leaves, but relative size of leaflets ls typical of poncirus

That's a nice emergence of a name. So you don't suspect a hybrid but a new poncirus variety. I am curious how the fruits of you will look this year.

Hello Kinga7,
Welcome to the board. Could you please tell us more on this plant.
It seems that you have a clump of 3 (?) stems coming from one polyembryonic seed.
The three types of fruits that you mentioned, are they coming from individual trunks or just appearing randomly on branches?

Three types of fruit come from different branches (from different trees connected) I have confirmation - it comes from Italy from Sicily Trifoliata has been growing in the garden for over 8 years, it has survived to -20c as you wrote.
