I think this lemon is a dwarf fruit, the fruit does not get much larger than this. It was the same last year.

i have the same lemon (feminelo lunario) both ground and container grown. fruits as well as the tree itself does not grow big and bears 15 fruits a year. it seems to me more like ornamental value.

Ok, I guess you and Laaz are correct, the only lemon fruit that looks close to the shape of my fruit is the lunario. It's to bad this fruit is so small, not much use for it. I will let it grow for one more season then cut it off.

I have another question on this lemon on my grafted tree. Does any lemon hang on a tree looking the same color (ripe) for 9 months without turning brown or drying out?
These 3 lemons on my tree still looks the same, no change in fruit age, maybe it's one of those longevity lemons from Italy?

IT IS Same with my lunario. Espescially in Winter , the fruit hanging on the tree with No Change in colour or size. You can leave it on the tree for Long Time and IT wont Change once IT grows füll size

Ok, thanks for the info. Do you know if these lemons are always this small? I guess they are not good for anything but ornamental.

They will grow bigger in time. If i have to choose now which Lemon to Buy, the lunario would be on the bottom of My list. IT Produces one kg per year and the treegrow is slow. I would rather grow Meyer which does Not have true Lemon taste But gives plenty of fruits every year

The three lemons are still hanging on the tree, it's been about 1 year now, that is a long time for any citrus fruit to stay on the tree and not fall off. There must be somethng unusual about this variety. I will report back when the lemons fall off and we can see how long it will take. All my other lemon varieties have had many ripe fruits which finished and have the second and third crop of ripe fruit so this one is different.

My lemons are still hanging ripe on my tree. I just picked one fruit yesterday and it was still good, taste like lemon, not dried out. I have many different varieties of lemons grafted on my trees and this is the only one that has keep the ripe (yellow color) now for 14 months and still hanging. That is a record for me, I will see how much longer it can hang on the tree before it either drops or dries out. Must be some type of seedling or a mutation, what do you think? I plan to graft this one to a few more of my large in ground trees and see how the fruits ripen on them.
