I got the tree from one of the Internet's most popular nursery. Another thing, a Saint Teresa lemon tree is known for having the largest leaves in the lemon family. The leaves on my tree are 5 inches wide and 5 to 7 inches long. Although the fruit on the tree does not have a real nipple they are still very young fruit. Laaz, I would let your fruit mature and see what the nipple looks at that time.

Well the fact is that this is not a St Teresa lemon. Feminello lemon next to this (Lemonade?) fruit. Time to hack this off & regraft. Thanks for the budwood Kelly.

I had a somewhat similar experience, a post on Facebook Market place to come and buy some Amalfi Lemon fruit, house bought off on old Italian gardner. The old guy called them Limoncello's and told the new owner so. They were very nice big round fruit, very delicious. But they urned out to be NZ lemonade. I don't think there are any "Italian Lemons" in Australia as far as I can find.

Well, good luck with your grafts. I got my Saint Teresa from Four Winds almost two years ago and it is doing well. It does have big lemony smelling leaves and just bloomed pink fading to white blossoms. I hope mine is the real thing. I grafted a few cuttings onto poncirus this year and they are growing well.

Good luck, Laaz! I currently have 5 fruits maturing, all have nipples and a slight neck (2nd year holding fruit; purchased from Four Winds as well).

My little fruit forming from the flowers I mentioned earlier have nipples and are oblong. Guess I got the right variety.
