Hi, so I had some lemons lying around and also a few of those cheap mini satsumas as well and I thought I'd take the seeds and germinate them for growing for a bit of fun. The seeds germinated well. But upon growing in soil, they just present this fast growing stalk like thing with no presence of any leaves you'd expect. I think the actual seedling is maybe in the seed shell still ( I did use the peeling method for germinating) 1. This one I germinated indoors in a plastic bag with damp tissue etc and this was 2 months ago (yes it's been a while, but I better mention I am in the UK with only little sun) It is in a brown pot from the garden center. rail-record.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/PXL_20210514_073736542-scaled.jpg 2. This one germinated outdoors in the elements , and I moved it indoors after it germinated. After two weeks, it presents this tall stalk too. rail-record.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/PXL_20210514_073833394-scaled.jpg My question, Are these tall stalks expected, is it normal, and if not what would the problem be? Kind regards (Both plants actually have two seeds in, when they grow a bit more I'll move them.

Give the plant so time. Everything will develop in its time.
