There is a red pomelo in southern Thailand called TUB TIM SIAM, it reaches 1-1.4 kg, it's sold quite expensive over there like $US 8 -10 a piece. Anyone growing it or tasted?

I too am highly interested in this variety.
Florida's citrus repository has a selection named "thai pink" or something similar and I wonder if theyre the same line.

I doubt the area that it's grown it's only in the southern Thailand. They need high humidity and hot days to grow. Tropical kind of plant, other more subtropical areas in Thailand failed to grow it.
