Meiwa kumquats are incompatible with sour orange root stock so I have grafted a Poncirus trifoliata to my Seville rootstock in hopes that 8 inches up the stem I can graft a Meiwa kumquat . Citrus grown on Seville sour orange produces Superior flavored fruit as well as smaller fruits than other rootstock. Kumquats are about their sweet flavorful skin so Smaller fruits mean a higher skin volume to flesh volume ratio. app.photobucket.com/u/wreristhechimney/a/859bd501-d8f5-4534-a49d-4e90d1d737ec?mode=slideshow
