How is you Khasi Papeda doing at the moment? You had it this winter inside, right?

My seedling was in the greenhouse. It suffered already at -6°C in the last winters. I will test it outside again when it is stronger.

Where did you usually get your seeds/seedlings from? I mean it usually grows in remote ares and the export to for example europe is not allowed, right?

Unfortunately, it is even strictly forbidden. I got mine from INRA Corse. A few years ago they used to send seeds of every variety they had. Unfortunately, they don't do that anymore, only a few standard varieties.

Ok. It’s a pity. Especially since of its tolerance against cold temperature, it’s an interesting candidate for outdoor plantations in climates with cold winter like central/northern Europe.
You do not have by chance some young plants left, which you would sell or trade against something else?

My plants are still small. I can of course send budwood later. But in my experience Khasi Papeda is not as hardy as others, e.g. Ichang Papeda. Mine has already suffered in mild winters at -6°C.
