My second fruit of Batumi Citrumelo: Fruit was pleasantly smelling ![]() . Taste of juice was like a good grapefruit but sour, less bitter than Ruby Star from the supermarket. When I quized the fruit the peel became oily and shiny and became a bit sticky. Yet the smell of the peel oils was very pleasant, grapefruitlike. Peel tastes bitter but not much. I did not sense Poncirus influence even in the peel and would use it for baking.

Perhaps, I have to correct me regarding the taste of the peel. I ade some cookies a few minutes ago and tried the peel again. This time I found it really bitter. Taste of bitterness can be so different depending on what you have eaten before. My first impression was after I had drunken the juice. The juice was the first thing I tried.
