I am tired of watering. This is day 16 of no rain and temps at 97. Sunshine aplenty. Water keeps things percolating but....there is nothing that compares with a good soaking rain. Im ready.

I know what you mean. We have been skirted by rain for the last 4 or 5 days, but not one drop has fallen on my place. We have had the benefit of some afternoon cloudiness, though.

We're just the opposite, rain almost every day for weeks now.

Drip irrigation is awesome and easy to set up. I dunno how big your orchard is, though.

For me it does not pay off to set up irrigation. Citrus trees are scattered on big surface among olive trees.

Same over here.we even got some meteo tsunami effect due to air pressure difference. The sea level dropped and rised in just 10 minutes for couple of meters which is unusual for Adriatic.
