If you want I can send you some seeds, I have many. I completely forgot about you saying this and I was quite confused when the seeds arrived today 😅. Thanks a lot. I'll wait till spring to start them since every available counter top in my house is already full of poncirus seedlings

I germinated a few of the seeds you send. I will germinate more in a few months when I have more time. Those seedlings confused me when they first germinated because they had no seed leafs. They were just white sticks once the seed casing fell off. I thought maybe the seed leafs had rotted off. But they are just showing their first leafs now.

I grow many mountain papayas, Babaco as well. They do okay with cold temperatures, but they don't take freezing. One big mountain papaya in pot took -3 C but only during the night. If you have freezing more than 24 hours they die. Better grow them in pots and when it's freezing just put them in a shelter with no lights they can survive even 2 months like that.
