The pots are fairly large. Will they grow better in this size or could they grow just as well in smaller pots? How small would be okay? I am asking because I have limited space. Thanks!

I use a smaller, taller cup. Nothing wrong with the way he did it. I want roots to grow long so I use a 12 inch deep cup. I find that rootstock will get to be about 20 inches tall befor I transplant out of the tall cups. Works well for me.

I have found that McAlister's 32 once drink cups are deep enough for starting seedlings and I get them free 'previously used'

I noticed that in professional rootstock growing their pots are very thin to pack lots of plants in a smaller area but extremely deep to give the roots lots of room. I think that's the best for limited space I was thinking about making my own pots like that since I think they would be be hard to buy and probably expensive if I could even find them.
Beautiful looking plants

Yes that's what I want. But of course they don't deliver to Ireland. But it will be a while before I need them so I can take a while to figure it out.

I've ordered some of those bags just to start them off. But I think I'll make my own pots just because it'll be cheaper. I don't buy stuff on bottles normally otherwise 1.5L bottles would be the best because of their Shape

I use small pots for seedling, somehow they grow taller and faster than big pots, and the plants are ready to be grafted in one year.
