Hi all! I have a 7ft ST lemon in a container that may be in need of a good pruning - what do you guys think? My only concern is CLM will be here soon (yes, I know it’s only cosmetic damage, but I loathe it lol). Should I wait till fall? Thanks guys!

Just remember you are cutting off the fruiting nodes...

I know (cries just thinking about it lol), but shouldn’t the tree be balanced before it gets out of control?

Your tree is very well balanced already. If you prune it will push out unbalanced growth everywhere else.

Thanks, Steve! I thought it was awkwardly top heavy, but I’ll leave it as is. Appreciate the feedback, guys!

I would not prune the tree. If you concerned about the height of the tree, you could remove the apical bud, which will cause the tree to grow broader.
