Does anyone have experience with the mandarin variety "Harumi"? I want to know when the fruit ripens and how cold hardy the plant is. Thank you

I heard of Harumi. It is supposed to be better than Sumo, smooth rind, even size, fine texture and sweet. The fruits ripe around Dec - Jan. probably not more hardy than Sumo.

Looks like it has the same parentage as Dekopon.

I think frost resistance should be the same as Dekopon. It is resistant to citrus scab [Elsinoe fawcettii] and moderately resistant to citrus canker [Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri]. The cultivar has a strong tendency to alternate bearing..
