I'm now waiting for my Santa Teresa to fruit so I can see what kind of merit your Italian lemon obsession has

My grandma had a container monachello tree for as long as I can remember. She used those lemons in everything & damn they were good! Don't know whatever happened to the tree. I remember her saying a friend brought it back from Italy for her.... This was probably back in the 40's or 50's.

Brian, my Santa Teresa is covered in fruitlets. I’m praying they hold on past June. I would love to have at least one mature fruit to try.

Kelley, Millet applied his low biuret spray, spray after fruit drop and to retain, again somewhere in July for optimum size. It works for me big time. A lot has been written on this here and the the tropical fruit forum . You have to add a food grade surfactant .

It's amazing to me how plants (and food to be honest) remind people of people (and places). One of the reasons I am on the hunt for a sfusato amalfitano is because of the trip my wife and I had to the Amalif coast. Really amazing place. Also researching how to grow mangoes in pots, as they remind me of the good times we have had in Hawaii, where mangoes are plentiful. In HI, you shouldn't park under a Mango tree when they are in season, or you will end up with dents in your hood... Jason
