Citrus changshan-huyou Y.B.Chang,sp.Nov. syn. citrus paradisi, citrus changshanensis,is an evergreen fruit tree native to the Changshan County of Zhejiang Province. Chinese scientists made many DNA analysis to confirm that it is a true citrus paradisi, cross of pomelo and citrus sinensis. Some analysis support the idea, some say it it s cross of pomelo and sour orange, some say it is cross of pomelo, sweet orange and something. They believe, that there are two natural citrus paradisi lines, one in Caribbean area, and other in China. Some say, that in 1825, the Portuguese introduced it from Changshan, Zhejiang Province, to the same latitude in the United States, Florida, and called it grapefruit. Pictures from net.:
