Thanks for the details Millet, as always. I browsed different forums in search for answers, and you're all over the place! You seem to be reference in citrus growing I went for some Miracle Gro water soluble fertilizer, 24-8-16. That was the closest I could find to the ideal ratio of 5-1-3. And I got some epsom salt to complement the fertilizer. So far I'm quite conservative with the amount of fertilizer I'm using. I follow the instructions on the packaging, despite reading everywhere that citrus trees need lots of nutrients. I was thinking it might be easier to progressively add more and see how the tree is doing than feed them too much right off the bat.

Douglove, there is a exact 5-1-3 ratio fertilizer under the name Jack's Professional Water Soluble Fertilizer 25-5-15 HPF. It is for continuous liquid feed programs. You can easily find it on the Internet.

For Jacks 25-5-15 fertilizer dissolve 1 teaspoon per gallon. Okay thanks. I’ve been doing 2 Tbsp for a 5 gal bucket so just a little stronger but I’ll back it off a little. I also add abt 5ml of a CalMag solution. Osmocote plus I add to each plant about 2x a year along with a foliar spray of Neptune’s Harvest every month or so. Anything I’m missing?

I've had some of these trees 20+ years. I don't have a rigid schedule, but about twice a month,
