Sunquat is such a nice looking tree. Mine was unhealthy for some time and is now bouncing back.
I just received a Logees tree today also - a Shasta Gold mandarin. Ive always been disappointed in my Gold Nugget and I heard this was better, and Logees had it discounted to something like $35 delivered
Hah, and I also do exactly the same thing with soil - recycle the decomposed muck from the last repotting as “peat moss” component.

I hope they taste good. I wouldn't mine something lemony as prolific as a Kumquat. I drink a lot of lemon water - half a lemon squeezed to a large glass. I'll find out if I like Calamondin water soon enough. My first Logees Citrus purchase, I've gotten other things from them.

They taste just like lemon to me. They arent really good eating whole because of all the seeds and sourness, but they are a good year-round “close enough” lemon that looks pretty.

Glad to hear that they taste similar, a smallish lemon for a little cooking and drinking water sounds about right. I cant really eat a whole lemon, nibble on a slice maybe in a drink maybe. Not really a lime fan at all.
