Looking for lemonade seeds to use as rootstock. I have regular trifoliata & some swingle seeds I'm willing to trade.
I had a lemonade tree & didn't care for the fruit. It was grafted to swingle. I left about 6 inches of the lemonade wood on & grafted ST Teresa to it & it is the most vigorous tree I have seen. I want to see if it will work for a stand alone rootstock.

Are you referring to New Zealand Lemonade? My tree is producing it's first fruit. If there are seeds when I pick it, you may have them.

Laaz I have a ton of NZL fruit on my tree, they are now fully large, but still green. I should have a lot of seed in a month or so. When NZL is left hanging on the tree until it is fully ripe (yellow) the fruit develops its sugars, and does develop a lemonade taste. Personally I enjoy the taste at that time. Brian if you whish to taste a NZL I will send you some when they are ripe for your evaluation. I eat them out of hand.

I never try to eat a lemon before. I only use lemon for cooking/ingredient. I can trade you with my Thai white guava if you like. Thx, Alex
