One of my minneolas already has a few tennis ball sized fruit, some grape sized fruit, and is blooming again. Is this common for this type?

Brian I have had min do this before. Had lots of fruit on it and out popped one branch loaded with blooms. After another year it did not do it again. I dont see this as common with min, I see it as a occasional happening. Other cultivars do this at times also.

Off season bloom is most frequently cause by some sort of stress on the tree, such a high day time temperatures, over fertilization, disease etc. Off season bloom generally results in inferior fruit.

I just throw a handful of osmocote in every couple of months. Ive never actually measured it. Might be too much, or maybe they are confused from northern greenhouse culture.

I have several trees blooming with mature fruits and different stages of immature fruit. I think our long hot, dry summer had some influence on them.
