My water pressure is just over 60 psi and my sprayer works fine. How do you know the ratio of oil or soap to water on these repurposed sprayers? The one I use is adjustable, so I can set it like I want it. Just wondering...

I'm not sure on soap, but for Horticultural Oil (at least for Ultra Pure HO) the spray rate is 40 grams HO to one gallon of water. I imagine soap would be somewhat higher.

That wasn't my question. What ratio are these repurposed insecticide hose end sprayers using, as I don't believe they are adjustable. I don't know, as I don't have one...yet. I wouldn't want to put too much oil or soap per gallon on my trees, but would want the proper ratio. Soap should be used around 2 1/2 tbsp/ gal. of water, from what I can find online and 40 grams is 2.67 tbsp/ gal. Am I just worrying to much???

toofarnorth, I think you already know that you are worrying way to much.
