Many of you probably remember the grapefruit I planted from seed back in 2005-06. It has become a very nice producing tree and is nor over 25ft tall & produces hundreds of excellent fruit every year. Never let anyone tell you that something can't be done. I have another one in the back yard the same size that was planted at the same time. 7-01-2019 The trunk is almost the size of a 5 gal. bucket.

Beautiful grapefruit. Around this time of the year the grapefruit in New Zealand (NZ grapefruit or poormans orange) are loaded. Unfortunately I and the wife can't eat them anymore because of medication side effects and the neighbours don't so their fruit eventually just ends up rotting on the ground. You must be one of the lucky ones.

I remember the tree from old forum. It has doubled or tripled since then. Does it lose leaves in winter? Does it stop vegetate in winter? it looks like it grows whole year.

We usually only get 7-10 nights a year where it drops below freezing for a few hours.

Grapefruit love heat & humidity, they seem to thrive on it.

very nice seedling ! I grew a pomelo seedling and its growing well with good tasting fruit. Not as big as your tree but it does grow fast, need to cut back to 12ft every year since my yard space is limited. It recently started to have a few variegated branches so I will try to isolate it.
