Sudachi on the other hand I like very much. And my tree produced buckets of fruit every year.

I was told that the Sudachi Eisenhut have is in fact Hanayuzu. I have such a tree and it does indeed look just like Hanayuzu. Where did yours come from?

I got Sudachi seeds from Laaz a few years ago. I had to move several times until I was able to settle down and came to get a nice glashouse. So the plants are still too small to flower but big enough to send you budwood. I initially had some root problems. But grafted on Poncirus they look very healthy and started to speed up growing this year after I planted them in ground.

I ordered a sudachi from fourwinds along with the santa teresa lemon that they just got back in stock. The sudachi has a couple flowers so maybe I will get to try the fruit soon

Well shit! My sudachi is back from the dead. That nasty freak freeze & ice storm we had back in Jan 2018 knocked this way back. I thought it was killed to the roostock. I was out working on my back deck today & looked down, and saw some small fruit. Walked over & the sudachi did come back & has fruit as well!
