Turned on the irrigation at 3:00 am. Water deployed....looked like the fountian of....main line cut in two places. Dug it and fixed it. Its too hot to be digging. Wife called. Ice maker quit making ice and is making a grinding noise. Before I could get home she called again....freezer door frozen shut. Its always something......

David, I call those Job days... named after Job in the Bible where in one day he loses pretty much everything including all of his children! Ive had them so bad that Ive stated that the icing on the cake of my day would be to come home and find out my wife ran off with the insurance salesman! lol Hasn't happened yet and Im sure it never will but days like you are having can be frustrating! Been there done that... plenty of times!

You have it pegged right Stan. Not only did I work hard to whole day but it is going to cost me dollars. Got to buy some new irrigation pipe and install it....and guess what....service man says refrigerator is not worth spending a lot of dollars on so.........gotta buy a new one. The Lord knew what he was doing when he decided that a man would reap the rewards of living a good life.....he just did not know it would cost so much.

You bet. I have a birthday on the 12th. Kids and grand kids are all coming Saturday. Irrigation can wait. New refrigeraton on the way....they will haul off the old one. Wife is making pulled pork, potato salad, cole slaw and bean pot barbeque. What else could a man ask for? I am counting my blessings.
