Yada, Yada, Yada, must be nice to have fresh seafood swimming around your back door. Either of you got a spare room to rent?

If you're patient you can get some decent shots... I don't usually eat these, they tend to be a little tough...

Bluefish are too oily for me. Tried to release this one, but the heron grabbed it first. They will stalk you all day & grab your bait or whatever you catch if you don't pay attention...

Tell you what. If you ever get fresh shrimp off the boat, you'll never want that frozen stuff from the grocery store again. Geechie Seafood

David, does shrimp out of the Gulf taste like 10W30? Some don’t like to eat anything from the Gulf. Is this bogus?

Yes it is bogus. The shrimp, oysters and seafood from the Gulf are great tasting fish. The oil spill that occured a few years ago is long gone. I have fished and eaten seafood from the Gulf all my life....I and other great chefs, ( I love to cook and am told that I do it well) think that sea food from the Gulf is as good as ot gets. I am sure that I am swayed from living on top of it all my life....cooking it all my life....but fresh seafood makes all the difference. Fresh....is the key regardless from where it comes from. Great chef is a title I have dubbed myself 😁😁😁😁

Well that’s great to hear from you. When I was still working, we went on vacations frequently to the. south, N’Orleoans, Anthone’s etc. I might not be able to handle living there. Btw, we like blackened Catfish a lot.

New Orleans food and culture is a little different. Food here is so much better than other places. Personal opinion, Im sure others sport their home town cooking and well they should. I recommend Commanders Palace for food connoisseurs. Antoines is great. Pocorrellas general for a REAL muffaletto.
