There seems to be a misconception amoung some that poncirus must have full sun all day to bear fruit. This is just not so. Poncirus grows wild and the truth in most cases it is an understory tree. In its naturally occurring state it grows in filtered sunlight at best. The best bearing trees that I harvest are in filtered sunlight.....in the woods, along old overgrown fence rows and near bayous and lakes. It likes these areas. It is versatile in that it will grow and bear fruit in a full sun location but full sun is not a must.

Yesterday I went to look for these trifoliata that I remembered seeing as a child and I found one of them. It is actually in full shade and loaded with fruit. Sorry I tried to insert an image and I could not find and icon to download from the computer.

I too can not upload pics. My computer is old as is my phone. Perhaps that is the problem.....or it might be that I am old.....I know there is a way but I am unable to get the upload pics button to show on phone or the desktop version on my computer...

Uploading pics to the forum is limited to 1mb which is tiny. I use imgbb.com/ Upload your images there & then you can post a link to the photos here.

Unless you think Kerosene is sweet. It makes good paint remover.

What I do is upload the image, click on it for full size, then right click & "view image" & copy the url... Like this. You need to be in full post mode, not quick. You click the image button & insert the link.
