has anyone attempted to grow it? How long the fruit can remain on the tree? I'm still trying to find a source in Europe but when a citrus is grown from so little people even infos are scarce.

Only grown in a small area by a few people. I have never touched or tasted one. Seen pics only. Google has a little info.

Ilya talked about it on another forum, so my infos come from him. Apparently it is an hardy lemon developed in Russia, which has been sold as the japanese yuko for some time in europe; but as more people got it it became apparent it wasn't the japanese yuko, rather some kind unnamed of lemon hybrid (that's why i call it "false yuko"). I didn't know/understood how they traced back to russia. Thing is, this should be significantly hardier than a lemon (i hope in the bloomsweet grapefruit range), but i have yet to test it. And it won't happen till i can't get a plant!

Yep that's it. I want to test it in ground in Florence Italy to see how does it behave in the italian winter, i wonder if it able to survive, it might be able to be used as lemon lookalike for places where lemons can't be grown in the field. I attempted buying it from eisenhut but they stopped answering to my emails after i agreed to buy it! The weirdest thing i have ever experienced.
Adavo hasn't it. And Černoch neither.

Pancrazio, if Sneck will not respond, I can send you a very small twig of my pseudoyuko. It is very slow in growth and after years in culture is extremely dwarf. You should probably graft it high on a strong stem of poncirus.
