Dalmatian Island of Solta, 20 km south of Split. Only poncirus as rootstock. I am Not Sure about rootstock of pomelo, rangpur and Kumquat, because they do Not come from nursery Production. Those 3 are imported from italy, so they Said in nursery. 3 years old Seedlings come With fruits hanging on, But we picked Them before Planting.

> Dalmatian Island of Solta, 20 km south of Split. A good place for citrus! If you have water...
> Only poncirus as rootstock. If you have limestone soil it shall not be easy... But as there is CTV all along the coast, I presume you don't have other choice.

Water is the biggest reason why locals grow only olive trees. There is no Public water runing near the Land, therefore i bought water Tanks AS temporary solution. They will BE put on highest Point so that Natural decline could Help get the water trough the pipes to the trees. Yes, the soil IS Limestone, First the Stone was minced, Ground, dont know rhe Word. Then we used 2 Trucks of regular Red dirt to fill the holes. Dont Need to mention, that every local think that this is Just Money wasted.
