Hello,
I'm from spain and I'm looking for shikwasa(Citrus depressa), sudachi (Citrus sudachi) and kabosu (Citrus sphaerocarpa) seeds.
I didn't found any web to buy shikwasa, and only one for sudachi (now out of stock in tradewindsfruit.com), please, if you know where to buy these seeds or you have and want to exchange/sell them, contact me.
Thanks and regards

I don't know about the seeds of these plants but you can buy a kabosu (Citrus sphaerocarpa) plant from adavo. It's not for sale right now but they will have 24 plants grafted onto poncirus sometime this month. The plants from that site are very cheap but shipping is expensive. It will cost me €50 to ship to Ireland. But shipping is the same for 1 to 13 plants, so I will be ordering 13 plants at the end of this month. Why do you want these seeds? Will they make a good rootstock? I'm trying to decide on two good plants to grow for seeds for cold Hardy rootstock and they have so many different cold Hardy plants that I'm having problems trying to decide which ones to buy

You are right to ask for seeds because in Europe all the sources of kabosu carry CTV. Only few people have clean kabusu grown from seed.

in Europe all the sources of kabosu carry CTV. . Ok that's definitely important to know. Are there any other plants that I should avoid buying.

They are rare citrus fruits, so I imagined that they would be difficult to obtain, and I would have to resort to shops or people outside Europe, with the problem and cost involved. Although I do grafting, I also like to germinate plants, at the moment I have seedlings of pecan nuts, diospyros virginiana, yuzu, sudachi, psidium cattleianum, fig tree and something else. The problem will come when they can't be potted About using them as rootstocks I don't know what to say, I have planted PT for it, well, I was looking for flying dragon but the ones I bought didn't germinate. Although as I will have yuzu and sudachi seedlings left over, if I don't give them away, I will use them as rootstocks to experiment with.

I thought with the right rootstocks the grafted was protected. Does that mean they don't die from the disease but are carriers without symptoms? From what I've heard, that's what happens with fig tree FMV. How can I check that a variety grafted on a resistant rootstock has the virus?

Ok well its from inside Europe. Czech Republic I think. They also might have a sudachi as well. They seem a little unsure if it definitely is a sudachi.
If you really want seeds of those then it might be worth emailing them since they definitely have fruiting plants since they graft all their own plants and they say if the plant they are grafting from hasn't fruited yet

I bought many citrus plants from Adavo, they are OK for the price, but there are some mislabeled varieties in Adavo, they offered Sudachi in the past, but it was most likely Hana Yuzu, they don't have Sudachi listed anymore...
Shekwasha is available in Italy:

> I thought with the right rootstocks the grafted was protected. Yes that's true. Grafted on PT you will have no problem with CTV but the plant still carries the virus and can transmit it to other citrus.

Sylvain, did you ever order something from Agdia-ImmunoStrip? For me it is not even possible to registrate. Austria does not exist in their world.

I didn't but I asked Alias: « You have to send an e-mail with your contact details and the salesman will contact you and give you a link for the payment. ». Version française: « Il faut envoyer un mail avec tes coordonnées et la commerciale te recontactera et te donnera un lien pour le paiment. ».
