@laaz do these palms tolerate frost? Did they survive the heavy freeze some winter ago? It looks very tropical to me. I wonder that you have frost at all...

Yes they all survive the frosts. The tall one is a Washingtonia Filibusta hybrid & the smaller one is a native palmetto. I have many palms throughout my yard.

Do you protect them in winter? Trachycarpus should be fine I guess. What kind of palm is on the first picture?

Nice palms ilya. The second photo is a bunch of trachycarpus palms, but the first photo is a Jubaea chilensis or hybrid Phoenix?

Very nice. Jubea does not do well here because of our humidity...
Mikkel, no I don't protect anything... Not citrus & not palms.
I have in the yard: Phoenix theophrasti's, Phoenix sylvestris, Butia's, Washingtonia's, Sabal palmettos's, Sabale minor's, Lytocaryum hoehnei's, Chamaedorea radicalis's, Chamaedorea microspadix's, Rhapidophyllum hystrix's, Syagrus romanzoffiana's, Chamaerops humilis, Rhapis excelsa & a bunch of different Trachycarpus palms.

I have some Trachycarpus seedlings and a Chamaerops humils next to the house. Very slow growers but hardy in the last mild winters. You both have very nice palms.
