You better get a better transmission setup, that 3speed ain’t going to cut it, other than that, What a rig, super nice.If you ever go up north, look me up but you have to come with that truck, so you can go back with some more citrus trees. Got too many.

I hear you Marro. That is a Lockler shifter designed to look like the original. Linked to 700r b&h automatic transmission. I feel you on having too many trees. I too have too many but I can not stop collecting. I cull at times but have a small grove that I love. I give the fruit to local schools and folks. My wife says that I am very sick...she may be right.

Looking at those pictures, you don’t look sick to me, you put it all to gether, remind me of my hot rod days. It was pretty wild. I did the polish and porting on manifolds of Don Predohmme dragsters, The Snake ,engine builder Kenny Hirata. The Hawaiin.

Wow. I did my own port and polish. Must have been an experience working with the "snake". I love old school hot rods. When I was a young hot rodder I could not afford to buy parts so I learned to do it myself. So much bolt on horsepower available now its amazing.

Used to go to the drags in upstate NY at Lebanon Valley Speedway back in the day. Army funny car & Eastern Raider were my favorites... Well except for our home town hottie Shirley Muldowney...

Shirley and Big Daddy Don Garlits could be brother and sister.....they look alike. Citrus and hot rodding must have something in common....although It escapes me as to what it is. Must be the personalities😁

When I participated in the Hot Rod Tour in the early 2000's, my daughter and I swung by the Don Garlits museum. It was pretty cool. I am thinking Shirley Muldowney's car was on display there too.
