What's a PAF blackberry? I just purchased 3 Babycakes which are suppose to fruit twice a year. We'll see.

Prime Arkansas Freedom blackberry. They give you a floricane harvest early and then a Primocane harvest later. Very large berry. Man, they grow fast!!!

I have heard of those, just never seen them available locally. The more I read your posts, the more I would like to take a drive to see what you are growing. Maybe I could learn from you.

I got mine more locally, from Ison's nursery. I got them when I picked up my muscadine vines in January.
You are welcome to come by and see my "Jungle" anytime, just need to set a date to make sure we are here ( read that as make sure the grass is cut) lol. I love to show folks my citrus trees, fruiting banana plants, in ground fruiting pineapples and papayas, and kiwi vines and fig trees, and all the other things we have growing here. Come on by.

Toofarnorth, are you further west than Silver Dollar Raceway off Hwy. 96? It has been a few years since I have been out there. I sure miss the track as I sold my Mustang GT a few years ago.

We are only about 6 miles from Silver Dollar Raceway, but the easiest way to find us, is to go through Reynolds into Butler (about 6 miles) and turn right on Hwy 137. If you want to come by, just message me, and I will give you my address and phone number.

Thanks toofarnorth. I would love to see your set up on all your plants. I am gonna wait until the weather is much cooler. I have been living in GA 22 years now and still hate the heat.

I know what you mean. The older I get, the more I hate the heat.

That's why I live 15 minutes from three beaches... Always a nice breeze at the beech.

I live 2.5 hours away from Savannah and cannot stand going there either. We have visited there during one spring break years ago which was in April and it was hot and miserable. Before that I went in July or August when my father came to visit and it was hot and miserable then too. My daughter visits Savannah often there and says it does have breezes. I guess I just picked bad times to go.

The city doesn't, but the beach always has a nice ocean breeze.
